


Chitina Daily Land Access Permit
Permit holder is hereby granted permission to access and temporarily occupy the lands of Chitina Native Corporation in and around Chitina, Alaska for fishing, dipnetting and recreational use, subject to the terms of this permit and the Rules and Regulations as adopted and amended by Chitina Native Corporation. Permit holder agrees not to disturb any archeological site, or site of any historic or existing Native camp, village, cemetery and agrees not to remove any object from any such site. If any archeological site or artifacts are found on the subject property, Chitina Native Corporation shall be immediately informed and any artifacts shall be the property of Chitina Native Corporation.
Permit holder agrees that Chitina Native Corporation its subsidiaries and agents shall not be liable to Permit holder or any person claiming through Permit holder for any injury or damage to Permit holder or any other person or for any damage to, or loss (by theft or otherwise) of any property of Permit holder, or any other person, irrespective of the cause of such injury, damage or loss, and irrespective whether the claim arises in tort, by operation of law or otherwise and irrespective whether the claim arises from any act or omission, including negligent, reckless or intentional acts or omissions, by Chitina Native Corporation its subsidiaries or other agents. Permit holder shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Chitina Native Corporation its subsidiaries and agents, from any and all costs, claims, demands, suits, losses, liability and expenses for injury to or death of persons and damage to or loss of property arising out of or connected with the exercise of privileges granted Permit holder by this permit.
Chitina Native Corporation does not warrant or represent that their lands are safe, healthful or suitable for the purposes for which they are permitted to be used under the terms of this permit or that the lands or any improvements thereon are in compliance with any government code or other legal requirement.
